I had the very same thing on a Loree DM model oboe some years ago. Strangely, my Buffet has the opposite problem now (or rather it might have solved it rendering my over compensation problematic), really is frustrating! On the bright side, you can play with so much more cavity and resonance on these notes on the positive side of things. I miss that a bit on my Buffet oboe. Sorry i can't be of any help, know nuts about the D'amore but it seems to be a common issue also with the english horns that i have played.
