I tie the reeds at 73.0 to 73.5 mm,
on staples 47mm (of any brand),
cane of 11mm diameter, gouged at 0.58 to 0.60 mm.
Shapers: RDG-2 and lately one made by myself which is narrower,and from which I get better results.
Final length 71mm, rarely 70mm, never less (even though I have made some good ones at 69mm).
