The usual fingering for high F is 1st 8ve oxoG#|oxxEb although you don't always have to use the G# key as the side A vent will be open while LH3 is raised. Try the high F with and without the G# key.
On most pro model conservatoire system cors there's a linkage piece with an adjusting screw connected to the G# pad cup arm that closes the A vent for high F, though it's likely there may not be this linkage on thumbplate cors.
