Your comment is so true that a Geology prof. of mine, when he had his tour of duty as Dean of Sciences, asked for my help as he wanted to implement a double bachelors in science and music --- that's right, not science and art, but science and music!
Unfortunately, this never happened as he was caught up in political strife: a teacher did not like being fired for giving all his students A+ whether they showed-up or not for classes (and/or exams) and breaking in to a lab with very expensive equipment after suspension!
