1. The top plate has an adjustment on the lower plate (with the diamond aperture) to screw it down almost closed so LH1 can be lifted off completely instead of rolled downwards to keep it closed - the upper plate will still open fully.
2. Some players have always preferred playing cor without a sling.
3. She plays an older Howarth S2 cor which is lighter in weight than most modern cors.
