6 to 8 knives a year? Get this guy a grinder and teach him how to use it. I'm sure there are many more wasteful things happening in modern industrialized societies, but I'd hate for oboe reed making to be making such an obvious contribution. Of course, if the guy sends all his knives off to a knife recycler, he is forgiven.... What, no knife recycler? Send them to me, I'll see what I can do with them.
