Hi,
Before, I make any mechanical adjustments (I will be seeing my repair person next week- still tweaking the Oboe response) - I am looking for some suggestions to facilitate the slur to the high D from notes below; for example, G to D. Especially, for pianissimo passages.
All suggestions welcome - reed placement in the mouth, embouchure, reed scrape adjustments .......... alternate fingerings. (I found one that works half hole 23| 3C#; however ...... sharp).
On my Loree the Philadelphia Key works good enough well. On the Marigaux depressing the side of the D key helps ....... pitch is slightly sharp.
