Thanks for the good advice! (BTW, the "pure" comment was half in jest and half serious. When an "easier" fingering is possible, I try to err on the side of playing properly, because I don't to have to rely on a crutch that may end up compromising my playing elsewhere. But I do know that double-reed players have enough headaches to deal with--why not lose one even if it means not playing things "properly?")
