Hello all,
I finally decided to learn the Oboe.
I have an S40C (Conservatoire model) from Howarth today and start lessons in around a week.
I have a question regarding the 1st key on the upper joint of the Oboe (where I place my first finger).
It does not seem to raise as much as the other keys- is this normal?
I was extremely careful when putting it together- I'd be surprised if I damaged it myself.
This is a brand new Oboe.
I can take it back to Howarth for them to check, but I thought I would ask you kind people for some advice.
