 oboe too dry??

Hi

Was playing last night in a concert and couln;t get any of the lower notes below G. We had a rehearsal just beofre and everything was fine then. Is it possible to dry your oboe out too much when cleaning it. I use oboe mops and have never experienced it I've tried my oboe today and everything is working fine again.

Anyone had the same problem??
