Second Cooper's reeds.

A short list of reeds that have worked well for me:

Tabbytoes, outstanding.
Goodtoneguild.
Evans.
Singing Dog.
Dunkel.
Reedery.
Lisa Hudson.
Nielsen Blue.

And even though they're mass-produced (she said a little defensively :D ) IMO they're worth a look-in, because different reeds work differently for different people:

Fox Artist.
Gower.
