Well, I did order a few blanks and reeds from Nielsen in the past and of the reeds I ordered, the best was a reed I made from a half finished blank. I may try some blanks again and perhaps a blue professional and perhaps the purple and blue student reeds for practice as these seemed to get good ratings. Not sure about the grey or silver though, these may be good also, but more expensive.
