Cracks can start at tone holes.
Read this.
I suggest you contact either the dealer you bought it from, or a reputable oboe repairperson. It's better to fix an incipient crack, rather than to wait until it gets to the "yep, that's definitely a crack..." stage.
You can take a closeup photo of it digitally and e-mail it to the oboe repairperson or dealer, and get their considered opinion as to whether it's actually a crack.
