Oboedude,
One thing I used to do was to prop open the 2nd octave key and the trill keys to allow air to more readily evaporate. You may give that a try to see if that alleviates moisture from building up from one practice session to the next.
I would fold up cigarette paper many times over till it got thick enough to be used as a prop.
If all else fails, Weber reeds sells an octave bowl replacement called the aqua nix designed to not clog. Details are on their website under services:
