As for finding a cheap clarinet there are a few options. Have a look on Ebay as there are not only used clarinets being sold but several have links to music stores or go to the Resources section of Sneezy and follow the Retail link and you should find several stores there where you can find good prices on these instruments.

Good luck, I'm sure you will love either of the 2 clarinets you mentioned but keep using the mouthpiece set up you have, mouth pieces that come with Buffet clarinets are notoriously bad.
