What's better? It depends on personal preference? I'm gonna try all types of course but I'd like to know what people use mostly.. The BG CCE and C21E look interesting to me, not sure though If they're good..

I have used both. The suspenders interfered with the tie and often with both of them the lanyard either slips or gets in the way (the stomach). By the way, with the suspenders, your pants should be loose when sitting down. I could not get used to other straps because my beck would hurt also.

Hi,
I use a claritie sling extension:
https://www.reeds-direct.co.uk/daniel-s-claritie-clarinet-support-that-takes-all-the-weight-off-the-thumb-aclarinetsupport.html
but with a saxophone sling like this:
https://www.bgfranckbichon.com/en/cordons/1106-harnais-homme-s40m.html
I changed sling so that I would have the freedom to move my neck while playing, without the instrument moving around and messing up my embouchure connection.
I also modified the claritie sling with two nails sticking out of the top of the wooden block, which I then tuck under my trouser belt to anchor the sling at the bottom as well was the top.
It means that the clarinet is completely stable and I do not need to support the weight at all. I can, in fact, play open G "no hands" so not holding the clarinet at all except with my mouth.
It also enables me to concentrate on playing double lip, without having to think at all about keeping the clarinet in position.
I control the rotation of the clarinet using a Kooiman thumb rest.
I only started all this because I have a dodgy right wrist that can't support the weight of the instrument. If I had a working wrist I would just hold the instrument with my hand.
The system above does work well though.

So, as I understand both I mentioned are not ideal? So, what would you say about BG C50M?

I think it's good how the strap is held away from your neck by the suspenders. The thing I found about simple neck straps is that the movement of the instrument was directly tied to the position of my neck, as was my embouchure position. It became impossible to play without extreme neck tension as I tried to keep the instrument and my mouth in the exact position needed. I think this one does look like an improvement in that regard. I've never tried it though.

For what it's worth, I use a non-elastic neck strap (along with a Ridenour style thumb rest.) I find that I support my clarinet with the strap only when I'm
not actually playing and have the mouthpiece away from my mouth - during a one bar rest, during a pause in rehearsals, etc.
Works for me.

Bias: I occasionally use an elastic strap. I do so to take some weight off. Non elastic straps pretty much take all weight off, but only when their cord is fully extended. This latter class of straps seems to present a bit of an all or nothing proposition in weight support.
And my work with non-elastic straps has found it necessary to put a tiny bit of play in them such that they're not fully supportive of the weight when the clarinet is in playing position.
Something tells me that what might be ideal is also impractical, and might involve the use of multiple methods. For example, a strap that has elastic and cord might permit the instrument to float better with less weight, but present an absolute limit on how far the elastic can stretch.
And for those with injuries, some of the ideas of your third option, like Stephen Fox offers, might be best. http://www.sfoxclarinets.com/Accessories.html

I use a BG flexible, a non-flexible feels too rigid and restrictive for me. Years ago I also had a Neotech flexible, but the drawback with that one was that it stained the neck of the clothing I was wearing.

Why you don't use the strap when you're playing?? That's the big deal to use a strap, not while not playing..

I hate stretchy straps with a passion. Non stretchy straps allow me to eliminate the "lifting" portion of what the right thumb is doing so that all it has to do is push the clarinet away from the body a bit. I don't use a strap all the time, but during times when my desk job starts to cause me to get shoulder and arm tightness, a strap can help make sure that clarinet playing is not exacerbating it.
Your mileage may vary, of course. Some people like stretchy straps and I can't tell them they're wrong to like them. See if you can try both and figure out what you like.

Thanks Max! I guess you can achieve to not lift any weight by the thumb on a stretchy strap by adjusting It a little above the mouth. I don't know If that'd be comfortable but I'll see.

When I borrowed a stretchy strap from a teacher years ago, I raised the clarinet up higher on the strap so that the "sagged" position was where I wanted it, but I had this feeling like the strap was pulling the instrument into my face a little too much. I didn't like the feeling.
My impression was that the stretchy straps are meant more to take some (but not all) of the lifting responsibility away from the hands.
But who knows? Like I said, lots of people like them, including players much better than me.
