Could anyone give me a suggestion of a good ligature that does not slip? I tried many but most of them are quite unstable.

Some of the metal ligatures will slip when brand new as the plating can be a little slick. A light sand of the inside with some sandpaper will easily fix that. The slightly rougher surface will grab a little better. I use regular Bonades and they work well for me.

Without addressing any claimed differences in sound, not slipping is one thing that I really like about the Ishimori ligatures. I can feel confident taking off my mouthpiece and not having the reed move. This is especially important on sax, where you're adjusting the mouthpiece for tuning.

All the metal Ishimoris (gold, brushed gold, silver, rose gold, etc.) hold tight and so do the BG Duos (silver, gold, rose gold).

I bought an “Allora” fabric style ligature that stayed put. Quality was good, but it had been assembled wrong. The bars were in backward or something, an easy fix. I had one for a year or longer in my drawer, and I could see no degradation of the rubber coating. It was for a horn I sold. BG Flex and Rovner Van Gogh look sticky.
I don’t know why they ever changed the regular Rovner coating, I am reminded of my dissappointment every time I picked up my horn. The one I got for my saxophone in the 80’s still works.

I love my Silverstein, but I admit it can slip on my Backun crystal mouthpiece when taking just the mouthpiece off (not a big deal for me, as I almost always switch mouthpiece and barrel when I go from Bb to A) And I didn't find it slippery on hard rubber mouthpieces at all. I also had good luck with the BG duo - a very secure ligature, and very good:

Also another vote for the Ishimori - all good, depending on what you like best.

Use a Rovner. They never slip. Tom Ridenour has a YouTube video about this. He uses Rovner for that very reason.

The last Rovner I bought (3-4 years ago) most definitely does slip, worse than a metal ligature. The coating is more like plastic than rubber.

I have a Rovner Versa. If the mouthpiece cork is well greased (or if its not too tight in general like on my clarinet) the ligature does not slip.

Vandoren Optimum and Isihmoris are stable.
BG metal ligatures also stay put. I strongly disagree with the previous post about BG fabric ligatures, assuming we're talking about the same ones. The ones that are a fabric hybrid with metal plates are the slippiest you can find.

The problem (as mentioned above) is that the plating, nickel especially, can get really slippery and then in "pops" off. I find a quality silver, leather, or almost any other material of ligature is a huge improvement. Affordable options exist by Rovner, Bonade, etc.
However, the absolute "stickiest" and most affordable ligature I've ever come across is the new 3D printed one from Pereira 3D. It's available in 8 colors and also includes a cap. I personally really love mine.
Only problem is reed adjustment/removal can be a bit of a trick, and the screw mechanism is rather basic. But it stays on great during mouthpiece changes from b-flat to A and also works wonderfully with plastic reeds.
