I'm with most of the others, especially TAS. If you've played on the mouthpiece since before the little dings appeared, you know if its playing qualities have changed - if it has become more squeak-prone or the tone has become noisier. Bob's generous offer notwithstanding, I'd say if it plays as it always did, leave it alone and just keep playing on it.

That isn't to say that Bob or another skilled refacer couldn't improve the mouthpiece in some way. but that's a whole other issue, not related to your chips.
