The sound is more deep and powerful and the register key is 2mm(rather than 3 don't remember) higher that makes also for different pitch. I use a 440 pitched mouthpiece and with 660mm barrel I can easily tune to 441(and 442 very well warmed up) but 440 is a bit difficult because I have to pull the barrel 2mm out and also the middle joint and bell to get comfortably down to 440. 650mm barrel is good for 442+ pitch.
On the R13 660mm barrel is about dead on for 440 and I really need to use 650mm barrel to tune to 442. We usually here in Iceland use 442 pitch but sometimes pianos are tuned to 440 and 441pitch.
