Dear friends,
I wanted to ask if any of you knows Mr. Messina playing and teaching as I am interested in this course in France where he teaches in the summer and have never come across his name before.
Thanks!

"Patrick Messina made his international breakthrough already at the age of 14 when he won the" Buffet Crampon Music Competition" at Paris as being the youngest participant ever. Shortly afterwards he was asked to play as a soloist in the Youth World Orchestra."

Hi Michal
I don't know him personally but I saw him play live about a month ago and he played amazing! Some of the fastest staccato, and just overall some of the best classical clarinet playing I've heard.
The crowd was stunned, and it happened in the Bass Clarinet Convention in Rotterdam so 99% of the crowd were clarinet players, and very good ones, so you can imagine how good he had to play to impress everyone.
Good luck,
Nitai (who is also from your little country)

I heard him play at Mannes College maybe eight years ago, absolutely amazing. Last I heard he was playing in one of the major French orchestras.
