Kim: Any sub-title to your Buffet would be very difficult to name. That serial number would put it decades before the R-13. It probably has "undercut" tone holes, also, it probably has no set-screw mounted atop the throat "A" key.
My Buffet A-clarinet was made just before WW I, so stated Frank Kaspar of Ann Arbor told me. It also has an articulated G#. It's serial number is 103. A great clarinet with a bore like glass. Everybody who's played it wants to keep it. You should be very proud of your old Buffet. P.S. I don't believe in clarinets getting "blown out". All the Best. E. Thomas
