Was looking for a quote and got distracted by this wonderful one from one the world's best clarinetits ...

I heard this quote years ago from the famous tenor sax player, Frank Wess
"The clarinet was invented by five different cats! They lived in five different cities and they didn't know each other...and they didn't care!"
Frank was playing clarinet on a date with us, and said, "I'm feelin' very clarinoid!"

Unable to go beyond the above goodies, my addition is my own [AFAIK], " I'd rather play the malady on a clarinet than a harmonica".
