Hello friends,
Well, we made it! We are here in Urbana, moving to our new apartment in Champaign next week, and working our way through being students at University of Illinois!
I haven't signed up for classes yet, that comes a little later as I am non-degree seeking, but my husband (the conductor) has met the TA who will likely teach me, I have begun audition prep as of today (spent one week preparing to leave by moving an entire house of furniture into storage, then the second week getting over jet lag and learning a new town) and I am looking forward to much oboe-ing!
I feel like I have been away for a long time from here (although only two weeks), but thought I would drop in!
