I have a faint memory of learning that someone arranged the movements missing from Stravinsky's Suite of l'Histoire du Soldat (for cl vln pno) in order that the trio could accompany the theatrical version of l'Histoire (when it was impossible to have the complete septet).
Searches on this Forum and Google do not find any arrangement of the *complete* Histoire, aside from Stravinsky's own arrangement for solo piano.
It looks like I have misremembered hearing of an arrangement of the complete Histoire, but I though I would check on this forum in case anyone knows of an arrangement of the complete Histoire for smaller formation (even if it does not include clarinet).
Thanks,
Simon

Hi Simon,
I have completed the version for clarinet violin and piano and will be presenting it at the ICA clarinet fest in Dallas later this summer (2025) through their research competition.
I’m currently speaking with publishers and the estate to navigate copyright and international publishing to make it available to all worldwide.
Feel free to email me and we can discuss further-
Bixby

Oh dear! Is it really vital to get an arrangement to diminish a band of seven to three? Or is the real reason that the original does NOT have a pianist?
