Short Scrape Reed Instructions

I've played on "American" scrape reeds most of my life; however, last summer I bought a couple of short scrape reeds from K-Ge at the IDRS conference just to try them out. I was surprised that the sound and stability were quite good.

I'd like to try scraping some short scrape reeds of my own. I could try to copy what I purchased but, I wonder if there is an English language set of instructions on the short scrape reed to guide me. Does anyone know of such instructions?
