I've only heard one movement of Alexander Voormolen's double oboe concerto, but that's well worth hearing. I'd like to hear the rest.
Anything with Heinz Holliger and Maurice Bourge - they both have a bright, lively style of playing which in Heinz Holliger's case, rekindled my interest and made me take up oboe again after 10 years absence when I bought a recording of him playing the R.Strauss concerto.
And shaped my career, so I owe a lot to him.
