The curve of the crook relates more to individual preference? It looks like it would matter on how much the horn is lifted (relatively speaking) from vertical position?
The rdg for sale model doesn't appear to have all "intermediate" keywork such as the low B vent on the bell, and of course not the trio left pinky set ... ? Does this change the lowest note playable on EH?

Clarinet bell fits? Good-o! I was thinking maybe if i was to go really crazy and be wild enough to commit to doubling on EH in my band, i'd maybe end up playing some missing FHorn parts occasionally, and a flared bell would perhaps open up the sound more, seems to me EH doesn't project so well because it plays almost directly down to the floor all the time ?
Perhaps a wood rather than plastic clarinet bell would make a difference to resonance? Different bells do slightly different tone colors?
What would be a suitable kind of bocal, metal, length & bore, with substitution for French Horn in mind, to give it a just a hint more "brass tone color" that is, more "ring" overall?
Oh dear, do hope i'm not seriously offending EHorn purists by even mentioning this (beep) idea ... my director says there are parts scored for EHorn in band arrangements, so there'd be opportunity to play Pure EHorn as well, perhaps i'd need a second bocal to optimize that pure tone color
i'm still "information gathering" just now, before ready to make any decisions or commitments, thanks for all your comments to keep my PC (Personal Cranium) mulling things over, anything else important to consider?
