Have you ever noticed/what's up with that

First in a series of provocative questions, partly Andy Rooney partly Jerry Seinfled at times, but perhaps some value lies beneath.

Jump in, have fun, share your insights... find the pedagogical point.

Have you ever noticed while playing a long tone, if you move your head slightly the sound becomes diffeent, either a bit duller or a bit brighter?

What's up with that?
