I have 5 different ones which I have tried over the years. For my set-up, the smallest (shorter and narrower) one works the best. It is an unnamed tip once given me by my teacher, who said it was a large oboe tip. I have a Loree #2 oboe tip in my collection, and the d'amore tip I use is slightly wider. You might borrow a small english horn tip and a large oboe tip and make some sample reeds to find your own basic preference.
