hautbois ... don't rightly know, CD jacket doesn't say, as it's a collection of many orchestral pieces. Whatever, it's a very enjoyable piece. Thanks for the extra info :-)

Are oboes de caccia (replicas?) played in any historical instrument ensembles you folks know of?

I found some good pictures of 'bent horns' (cor angle) while googling around for images many moons ago
