I think the first thing you do is get a cobra and place it in a basket a couple feet in front of you. Fear is essential to perform this instrument. [whoa]

Seriously, I think I saw it performed on the DVD 'Concert for George'. The tribute to George Harrison started with the Ravi Shankar Orchestra and featured a number of ethnic wind instruments.

You might get some insight if you can see that DVD.
