All movements or just one? Vaughn Williams is nice, but think of your strengths. Are you a strong legato player? Do you have fingers? Do you have long-winded endurance?
You probably don't want to approach the Vaughn Williams or Strauss if you don't have a nice legato. Likewise, the Strauss is difficult if you don't have the mouth strength. Albinoni is always nice, as is the Haydn Concerto (and Haydn you just have to hit your C major scales with a metronome real hard). Also, a the Hummel Introduction, Theme and Variations is nice, but there's that nasty lick in the variations which might be tough to get under your fingers as a high schooler.
There's also some nice vivaldi concertos. The dminor is very exciting.
