Just make sure you don't get any knots in the pullthrough or the string as these will bind in the bore, and if completely stuck they'll need drilling out (with a special long drill made specially for this job).
Clarinets aren't as much of a problem if the string gets knots in it, but as long as the pullthrough isn't too big (or isn't folded during use) it won't get caught on the speaker tube.
And with oboes and cors anglais, if you have two pullthroughs to go with each, make sure they're both different colours so they don't get mixed up - not a problem using the oboe pullthrough on cor, but using a cor pullthrough on oboe is a disaster.
I know which is which in my set - the oboe pullthrough is green and the cor one is blue, so no chance of getting them mixed up.
