When I first started my music degree, I found it difficult to practice for that long, but I hung in there and quickly got used to it.
The best thing I know to keep practice sessions interesting is to always have a goal in mind--something (or some things) to accomplish in the allotted time. Record yourself, and make a list of things you hear that need to be fixed. Tackle them one by one, and then record yourself again to see what else needs fixing.
