I am wondering how to clean the body of my oboe after I remove the keys.
I was thinking about washing it in water and soap then using something to re-oil it like linseed (refined) I tried it on an old clarinet joint that is broken and it dries out the wood after I washed it in the sink -
So basically I dont want to intro moisture into the body because - well ya know. How can I clean the body - should I use just plain bore oil and a rag and Q-tip - ?
Thanks
