I have a 104 model (plastic bodied full conservatoire system) as my back-up oboe which I've modified to make it the same spec as my Howarth S5 (minus the LH C# key which I've since fitted) and they're pretty decent instruments if crude - far better than cheap Chinese and Selmer Paris oboes as they play well in tune for what they are. I went against getting a wooden one as all the wooden Bundys I've seen were banana-shaped, whereas plastic ones will have straight joints. Maybe they used kiln dried or poorly seasoned grenadilla with them in the '80s and '90s.

I added a 3rd 8ve key, thumbplate, adjusting screw to LH1, tab to RH1, rebuilt the F key touchpiece to make it taller, adjusting screw on the D#-E trill mechanism, retaining hoop on the feather keys, low B-C link and low Bb bell vent to mine.
