Your best bet, if you simply want music to play together, would be to get some collections of flexible ensemble music, which is usually in quartet form.
I have had a few publications from Last Resort Music (available on Sheet Music Plus), and they have quartet arrangements that you can buy the individual parts for, to make up your own ensemble combination. There are different volumes, such as Classical, Christmas, Romantic and Modern, Rags, etc. I have the duet books and some of the arrangements can be tricky but they all work well.
My other suggestion would be to start experimenting with arranging.
