Breath breath breath! Exhale, inhale, and breath. Listen to Holliger's recording (which he uses all of the harpsichord ornaments as well) and mark the places he breaths, and how he does it. He'll often breath after the held notes, cutting off a sixteenth.
Don't get me wrong. I've performed this twice with orchestra and it's a difficult blow any way you look at it, but finding a good tempo with an effecting breathing scheme will make your life much easier.
