 loose tube corks

It happened again.

A great reed, but the cork has come loose from the staple and it revolves freely inside it.
I can still insert and remove the reed from the reed-well and it seals well enough to play, but it has rotational freedom and this is very disturbing to my embouchure.
I was not aware that I was imparting a "twist" with my lips, but the lack of rotational stability really bothers me.

Any magic solutions to this? The "cyano-" part of cyano-acrylate makes me balk at using a drop of superglue down the crack between cork and staple.

J.
