The Oboe BBoard

Apologies if this has been discussed before, I did do a search but couldn't find the answer...
I'm a wind player and generally play for musical theatre - although primarily a single reed player I double on the oboe when necessary! As my instruments are usually on stage, they are insured through the duration of a show by the production company.
I use a Boosey and Hawkes Regent oboe which I was lucky enough to buy quite cheaply. I'm having trouble knowing what sum to insure it for - if I insure it for the amount I paid (£250) I'm unlikely to ever get such a bargain again! I'd normally insure for the cost of a new instrument but they are no longer produced - is there an equivalent student level resin/plastic oboe still in manufacture from a decent maker?
Thanks for your help,
Sally
