Thank you for all of the really nice encouragement. Some days are definately rougher than others... *sigh* This is my first "wind" instrument (meaning one that you actually have to *blow* into to get noise ;p) so this whole building up strength/embouchure thing is completely new to me. Not to mention that I was so young when I started piano that I have no memories of being a beginner to compare it with. It is a bit of a novel concept for me I'm afraid...
Luckily, I do have a wonderful teacher, who is amazingly positive to work with, but since my first lesson back isn't until next week, I was letting the old "I'll never be good at this" worries get the better of me.
Also, I remember seeing a post that listed different exercises to do, but didn't really go into detail as to what they were/how to do them...
Thanks I will definately hang around.
