Yo! Super resource!
Handel is my favourite since I discovered the sonatas in my 1st oboe method (Pierre Cruchon) and got Heinz Holliger's Phillips recording in the mid-'80s. No matter what I say about HH, that recording is an absolute treasure!
I find Handel so powerful and so hard to play: the power is betrayed by the simple melodic line. Need to find the MIDI files for those.....
R. Still Student:
MIDI is the most versatile way but a simple solution can be to record those into computer sound files (mp3, wav, aif, whatever): you can open them in Audacity and play with:
- tempo and/or
- pitch and/or
- speed and/or
- tweak the volume in particular places
- LOTS of sound effects...

Craig: thanks again because I will use these you-tubes!
