It's fine if you're into playing music which requires quarter tones and other effects, but for the everyday player who only plays diatonic music and doesn't venture through the squeaky gate of contemporary music, then this is not the instrument for them.

While searching for photos of oboes fitted with LH C# keys I found this oboe which has the standard style LH F arrangement.
