the left F...you will die without it...not necessarily, but the forked F is just not appropriate in a lot of conditions....it sounds dull, aint flexible, and definitely not suitable for beautiful slow playing without adjustment.....
good luck! well why are you not making a decision to look at other brands?
there are a few brands out there which may well suit your necessity. I've seen 2nd hand oboes on the net ranging from $2000-$4000, Loree, Marigaux, Fox, Bulgheroni, Yamaha, all very reliable brands....so why not do some more research? Good luck!
