On a professional oboe with an articulated low-B/C#. The trill from low B to C# is accomplished by fingering a low C# and trilling the low B key. The low-B closes the C# automatically. This linkage especially useful for playing the first movement of Ravel's "Le Tombeau de Couperin". On oboes that have the low B/C# trill, the C# key will look like the E-flat key just above it.
