Hi! I'm new to the oboe, started a few days ago. Today it wouldn't make any sound (I CAN make sound) and noticed that the cork-ish thing that is insterted into the bore is peeling, along with the top part. Erm.. this is in Spanish but http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/16/Partes_del_Oboe2.jpg it's the "Espigas de corcho" part. Is this the reason or do is it just my reed (is slightly chipped). Even so, is there anyway I can like.. replace it? Thanks :D
