Chris,
Any chance you can persuade Howarth's to invest in the design of nylon-tipped Torx-7 adjustment screws? You could sell them as complete sets, complete with a torx key. It would be a boon to oboists everywhere!
Talking to a friendly clarinettist last night, he told me that clarinets don't need adjustment screws. I was sick with jealousy. My Eb-Db connection worked loose last night during a performance of Ruddigore, and left me fiddling with a screwdriver and strips of ciggie-paper during the interval (took 10 minutes, but it's an awkward connection to test at the best of times, never mind under pit conditions).
