If you are a real biter try pushups using only your lips....fold your hands behind your back.

If you are not a biter, you can get some benefits from 'playing' the eraser end of a good old fashioned pencil...

Do about a half-hour a day... its boring, but helps keep the chops going and abs doing the proper pressure to support tone. You can even fake fingering the pencil in the process.

You can also do that exercise using the tip of your little finger in your face...let the air bleed out around the edges.

Hopefully, you will have decent responsive reeds waiting for your return...

But if possible, take the oboe and a couple old reeds... go the the parking lot or sit in a car and play for real.
