Hopefully you can still read this.

Best is not silent but you can still do this outside the hotel, restaurant etc. If your purpose is to preserve your chops (jaw, lips, blowing), just take your reed outside and practice long tones, staccatto (be creative with rhythm) and muscle building (abdominal start-stopping the notes).
