Just clicked on this YouTube link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0eHMbryffY&feature=related to read the comment which made me laugh "Holliger's interpretation of this kind of music is superb. Strange how someone who writes such dry, ugly modernist music himself can play the oboe so beautifully."

A period performance of the 2nd movement linking from that http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5AHHKxCK64&feature=related has the comments "wow this doesn't sound like an oboe..." and "why dont you use any vibrato?". Hilarious!
